Increased traffic spurs new growth.

Due to unprecedented growth spurts, greatlakesprorodeo.com is expanding into new, uncharted territory. We are adding new pages to the website and would like your feedback regarding them. Feel free to send your comments to Maureen at mapanno5@yahoo.com. A few of you are familiar with Maureen because she's interviewed you at some point or other.

Here are a few of the new pages and things that will be on the website.

Current Concerns Page. This page will have news and articles pertaining to the western lifestyle that we know and love so much. These articles will cover a wide spectrum, for example, the National Animal ID controversy (we will cover both sides of the issue), cattle rustling (yes, it still occurs today), bills and legislation, the meat packing industry, livestock shows, anything that effects the small rancher when going up against the big conglomerates. If you have a news article for this page, let Maureen know.

General Store Page. This page will eventually have our own merchandise and a shopping cart feature, but for the time being, there will be link buttons and banners taking you to western wear, fishing, hunting, and gift shops. We will also advertise horse sales and farrier services. If someone out there owns a tack shop, by all means, let us know.

Almost Free Ad Space. In an effort to give something back to the Great Lakes Pro Rodeo Circuit cowboys and barrel racers, we are offering ad space to circuit members who own or operate small businesses for $50/year. We know how hard it is to get a company off the ground. If there is a website for the company, email Maureen the logo and she'll put a link button on greatlakesprorodeo.com in exchange for a link on your website back to us. Ads will not appear on the home page, but it is open season for any other page of the website. Tell us on which web page you want your ad to appear and we'll "GitRdone." We ask only that it be a small company, fortune 500 companies can afford to pay for advertising! These fees will cover costs, greatlakesprorodeo.com is a not for profit website.

* Stock Contractor Ad Space. We are offering the circuit stock contractors ad space as links to their websites. Each stock contractor will get an ad on every page of the website, except for the home page. This ad package is available for a modest once a year fee of $50.

* Rodeo Committee Ad Space. We welcome rodeo committees to use our site as an additional resource to get the word out about their rodeo. Any rodeo committee is welcomed to provide information about your rodeo to be placed on the website's up coming circuit rodeos page.

* If a business owner wants to sponsor the entire greatlakesprorodeo.com website, they need to contact Jim Coyle or Maureen directly for rate information.
