2008 Circuit Finals
The Dodge Great Lakes Circuit Finals Rodeo takes place November 13, 14, 15, 2008. The normally sold out Executive West Hotel in Louisville, KY, has been the host hotel for the cowboys, rodeo queens, officials and stock contractors for several years. The Great Lakes Circuit, has selected the Comfort Inn & Suites (formerly the Ashton Inn & Suites Best Western) as the host hotel for the 2008 Great Lakes Circuit Finals Rodeo. The hotel is on Philips Lane, just down the street from the Executive West. This is good news for fans because there are now rooms available across the street from the arena.

The Executive West is located directly across the street from Freedom Hall, so it's actually easier to leave your car at the hotel and walk the distance to Freedom Hall. Especially on Saturday night. That parking lot fills up fast. For you trivia buffs out there, the finals take place during the North American International Livestock Expo and the rodeo is actually named the North American Championship Rodeo. We just always call it the Great Lakes Circuit Finals.
Like most people, you're probably saying that you don't know what you'll be doing in November and don't want to make any plans yet. That's totally understandable. One thing you must consider, however, is how the sport of rodeo is growing. There are more rodeos being held in the circuit, many of them are part of the Heartland Series that the PRCA launched last year. Prize money is getting bigger as are rodeo audiences, and the caliber of the animal athletes is better than ever.
